The Foscarini Chouchin is inspired by the traditional paper Japanese lanterns that often hang in Japanese restaurants. The cylindrical lamp is perfect for above a dining table or conference table because the light radiates directly downward. The Chouchin family consists of three matched models that play with the contrast between shiny coated blown glass - in warm, creamy colors that are impervious to light - and the white lower section that glows and diffuses light downward. The mouth-blown glass diffuser is liquid-coated with a glossy finish.
