In 2016, Fritz Hansen is relaunching the historic Oxford chair, originally from 1965. The Oxford chair is a design by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen.

Arne Jacobsen designed the design office chairs for the professors at St. Catherine College in Oxford. The design classic owes its name to this place. Its sleek, sleek appearance instantly gives your study, office or dining room a makeover without compromising on comfort.

The Oxford chair was designed by the Danish Arne Jacobsen in 1965. Jacobsen was very prolific as a designer and architect.

At the end of the 1950s, Arne Jacobsen designed the well-known Royal Hotel in Copenhagen from the reflective facade to the spiral staircase + the interior including the unique armchairs The Egg and The Swan which are still in production at Fritz Hansen.
