Herman Miller Burdick desk 80's
When it comes to office and designer furniture, Herman Miller rules the roost. With a versatile range in design but also certainly within ergonomic solutions, Herman Miller is always right.
This rare Burdick desk by Herman Miller is a flexible and exclusive desk system. It was the first desk developed for computers and other electronic equipment. The work surface rests on a central beam of very sturdy cast aluminum. The desk has 2 floating drawer blocks at the ends of the beam. Worktop in the color white.
The Burdick tables are currently only available with glass tops, but previously one could assemble desk configurations. The series is very exclusive and is mainly found in boardrooms of Porsche, among others.
The desk was designed by Bruce Burdick and won several awards in 1980 for this unique design. In short, a true design classic to have in your home!
