Kartell FL/Y Hanginglamp

The FL/Y Lamp is a design by Ferruccio Laviani for the Italian brand Kartell. This lamp has a simple, well-thought-out design and is made of transparent methacrylate. The shade is not a perfect hemisphere, but the plane's intersection is below the diameter to get the most light. The special transparency of the material and the resulting color brilliance are reminiscent of the playful reflections of light on a soap bubble.
