Knoll Studio Saarinen Conference Chair

The Knoll Saarinen conference chair is a design by Eero Saarinen. In the early 1940s, Eero worked with Charles Ray Eames on bending veneer. Saarinen had a taste for it and also became interested in bending other materials. From 1946 to 1950 he developed and perfected the Conference (arm) chair, a particularly elegant conference chair.

The seat is made of plywood and the curved back of molded polyurethane..  A sturdy and robust armchair upholstered with blue felt.

This design has beautiful geometric and minimalist shapes.

Fits well in a modern decor in the office, lobby or living room. We have 1 used but very neat version and 1 that has strong signs of use.
