In 1964, Charles and Ray Eames developed a system of base elements that allow for many different table sizes and shapes, resulting in the elegant Eames Segmented Tables that have a large surface area and the smaller Contract Tables. The tables are very suitable for offices, public spaces and homes.

Vitra Contract Tables

For the Contract Tables, Charles and Ray Eames developed a universal base, the shape of which strongly resembles the bases of the Soft Pad Group, while the structure is reminiscent of Eames Segmented Tables.

The Contract Tables are perfect as small conference tables and are also ideal as bistro tables for indoors and outdoors. Available with other tops at an additional cost, including a round table top, which is available in two sizes, or a square table top.
