Vitra LCM 4-Leg Chair

The Vitra LCM Armchair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, is the result of years of experimentation in which the designers were looking for new methods to adapt three-dimensionally formed plywood as best as possible to the body shape. The result was the Plywood Group, in which both the seat and backrest are formed from plywood. The organic shape and the warmth of the wood invite you to relax. The Plywood Group consists of a series of 6 different models that are distinguished by materials and upholstery. The LCM, which stands for Lounge Chair Metal, has a back and seat made of molded plywood (ash wood) and is available in natural or black stained. The base is made of chromed metal.
